ONALASKA, Wis. (WKBT) – Food Network Baking Champion and La Crosse business owner Jen Barney is teaming up with a local veterinarian.
Barney and Nicole Azene of Onalaska Animal Hospital created a new line of pet treats.
it includes options for both cats and dogs.
The partnership is the result of rising demand.
More pet owners are asking for healthier products for their pets.
Local vets helped craft the recipes.
Barney says all of the treats have been tested and are animal approved.
“We put a lot of time and energy into the ingredients we are using. Everything is human grade. This is stuff you and I can eat- if we wanted to,” said Meringue Bakery owner Jen Barney.
The treats are available at the Onalaska Animal Hospital and in downtown La Crosse at Meringue Bakery.
