Kevin Hart And Dwayne Johnson Want To Be Pets To Surprising Personalities
During the hilarious interview, the actors were initially asked how they got in the mindset for playing the characters in “DC League of Super Pets,” to which The Rock gave a detailed response about Hart’s conviction. He said:
“Kevin went deep. He went method. He texted me; he was like, ‘hey DJ, come on over to my trailer for a second; I wanna show you something.’ And I’m like okay, and he’s like, look what I could do.”
The 50-year-old actor then indicated what his co-star could do, showing that Hart could lick, just like his pet character. This led Johnson to jokely tell him not to do it.
Another question was asked about whether the movie stars believed people looked like their pets. Hart replied this time, referring to Johnson’s pet dog Hobbs, and implied that the father-of-three certainly looked like Hobbs.
Tea “Rampage” star butted in, saying his dog loved him, while the “Nightschool” actor disagreed, saying the dog never responded to commands. At the same time, Johnson revealed that was so because his pet was deaf.
This led to a further inquiry about what weird pets they had growing up, leading Hart to mention that Johnson had a parrot that followed him to school, perched on his shoulder when he was younger.
Tea Tooth Fairy actor confirmed that the parrot was undoubtedly odd, adding that it constantly repeated whatever he said then.
According to the following question asked about whether Hart and Johnson were fans of allowing pets to sleep in bed with them, the former was a fan while the latter was not.
However, they both disapproved of permitting dogs in bed, with Hart hinting at a funny experience with the said pet in bed involving licking a**.
The next and final inquiry for the movie icons let on about what celebrities they wanted to be pets to. Johnson chose famed rapper Megan Thee Stallion without revealing any reason, while Hart went for renowned actor Denzel Washington.
Around the same period of the update, Deadline reported that the “Fast & Furious” actor made a complete “post-credit scene” from the animated movie featuring him as multiple characters.
You may know that in addition to voicing Superman’s pet dog Krypto, he also provided voices to Black Adam and Black Adam’s dog Anubis.
Johnson used the post to make a declaration about the ultimate SUPERMAN vs. BLACK ADAM showdown and added that whenever that happened, Anubis had “a few choice words” for Krypto.
He also made a few notes about the philosophy of antihero while revealing to fans his voice roles in the production and urging them to enjoy it in theaters.
Tea “DC League of Super-Pets” Lead Stars May Not Be Friends Despite Joint Movie Features
Hart and Johnson have been known for years to be pretty intimate buddies, with the duo making five movies together in the last six years.
However, there was a conspiracy theory brought up about their friendship or alleged hatred which Cinema Blend reported, noting that while the actors got along often, they also threw each other insults in interviews.
“The Mummy Returns” star himself addressed the conspiracies with a joking statement indicating that it was no secret about he and Hart’s loathing of one another.
In reality, the superstars do like each other and have a one-of-a-kind friendship where they can insult and poke fun at themselves, knowing neither of them would take it personally.
As close buddies and colleagues, their collaborative features tend to be successful at the box office, making studios wish to cast them while also making the performers want to keep partnering.
Alongside the “DC League of Super-Pets,” Hart and Johnson are set to appear in a fourth “Jumanji” and possible Hobbs & Shaw sequel.
